The first step for Bucharest’s “Energy District”: ELCEN launches feasibility study tender
The “Energy District” project takes a significant step toward realization with ELCEN launching the procurement procedure for the feasibility study. This urban complex in the Grozăvești area will host the headquarters of the Ministry of Energy and its subordinate companies, while additional spaces may be used by other institutions.
The project’s implementation will bring multiple benefits, including job creation and the promotion of green technologies. This initiative is part of a broader urban regeneration vision for Bucharest, which also includes projects such as the transformation of Casa Radio and the development of a park near the Palace of Parliament.
