Sector 6 City Hall and the Romanian Association for Smart City Implement the “Strategic Planning for Digital Transformation and Green Energy” Project, SMIS 155741
The Sector 6 City Hall of Bucharest and the Romanian Association for Smart City (ARSC) have initiated the implementation of the project “Strategic Planning for Digital Transformation and Green Energy”, code SMIS 155741. The project is co-financed by the European Social Fund, through the Operational Program Administrative Capacity 2014-2020.
The total value of the project is 3,653,288.40 lei, of which 3,580,222.63 lei represents the co-financing value of the European Union.
Over 40 organizations are part of the #Smart6 cluster, a unique tool for innovation and expertise.
This project represents a strategic step in improving local administration and ensuring a sustainable future for the community.
Objectives
Main Objective
The central pillar of this project aims to strengthen the administrative capacity at the level of Sector 6 and simplify administrative procedures. This will be achieved through:
- Development of local strategies in the field of digital transformation and green energy.
- Digitization of the institutional archive.
- Improving the skills of the staff involved in these areas.
Specific Objectives
Innovation Cluster: Creates a collaborative environment where experts and stakeholders can contribute to the elaboration of strategies.
Local Strategies: Strategies for digital transformation and green energy will be developed and approved, adapted to the local specifics of Sector 6.
Digitization of the Archive: A large-scale retro-digitization project of 462 linear meters of documents from the institutional archive will take place.
Training and Development: Training programs will be implemented to improve the knowledge and skills of the staff.

Preliminary Phase: Identification and analysis of needs, as well as consultation with interested parties, will provide a clear framework for the project.
Cluster Initiation: The innovation cluster has been created, bringing together experts, authorities, and relevant actors.
