New “Casa Verde Fotovoltaice” session to launch on September 6
Laurențiu-Adrian Neculaescu, President of the Environmental Fund Administration (AFM), announced that a new session of the “Casa Verde Fotovoltaice” program will commence on September 6, 2024. This session will start with the registration of installers, while individuals will be able to apply for funding starting September 27.
In a press conference held on Thursday, Neculaescu explained that the program’s new phase includes an accreditation process for new firms wishing to participate. Existing accredited firms from last year’s session will retain their status if they choose to continue in this year’s program. The list of accredited installers is expected to be published around November 1.
Individuals interested in the program will have until October 9 to complete their applications and select installers from the approved list. This year’s session is anticipated to add around 67,000 new beneficiaries to the program, bringing the total number of families assisted to approximately 200,000.
The application requirements remain consistent with previous years, including identity documents, tax certificates, and land registry extracts. The application system will be the same as last year’s, with a single day allocated for registrations per region to streamline the process.
Environment Minister Mircea Fechet noted that the program will finance solar systems with a minimum capacity of three kilowatts. The total budget allocated for this year’s “Casa Verde Fotovoltaice” program is two billion lei.
