The Generation of the Future: 7 Years of Success in the Electrician Apprentice Program
Seven years of success and continuous growth bring us a new generation of young people eager to build their careers in the field of electricity, alongside 201 other senior colleagues.
As always, Distribuție Oltenia, the operator, responsibly engages in the development of these young talents and supports them every step of the way towards excellence in the field of electrical energy.
The Electrician Apprentice Program is not just a learning opportunity but also a bridge to a bright future in a vital field for modern society, marking new significant milestones:
▪ The opening of the school year for approximately 320 Electrician Apprentices.
▪ Business partners, as well as educational partners ADREM, Energobit, Comranado, Elco Târgu Jiu, and ALM Power, continue to support the Electrician Apprentice project and expand their commitment.
▪ Nearly 670,000 euros invested in the project from 2016 to the present.
In the 2023-2024 school year, there are 313 Electrician Apprentices and new technology in their technical training
With each generation of Electrician Apprentices, we mark a new significant moment in our journey. We take pride in contributing to the formation of a new generation of specialists and are determined to ensure that these young people have the knowledge and skills necessary to face the challenges in the field of electricity.
Today, we have launched a new generation of students enrolled in the Electrician Apprentice classes at Astra Pitești Technological High School, Craiova Energetic High School, Târgu Jiu Energetic High School, No. 1 Alexandria Technological High School, “Ferdinand I” Râmnicu Vâlcea Technological High School, and “Alexe Marin” Technological High School in Slatina.
Another 201 Electrician Apprentices from the 10th and 11th grades have gathered in classes with parents and teachers to learn about the new school year’s updates in the project initiated by Distribuție Oltenia and supported by its partners, ADREM, Energobit, Comranado, Elco Târgu Jiu, and ALM Power.
In addition to the retained benefits:
▪ photovoltaic panels
▪ tablets for all students
▪ scholarships for the top 5 students in each class to support excellence
▪ personal development workshops
▪ new internship opportunities will be launched this school year, both in the field through partnerships with the five collaborators and in classrooms through our traditional partnership with the Progress Foundation.

Our partners bring an extra boost of energy
As always, ADREM and Energobit continue to support the Electrician Apprentice project. Both partners have already started the new school year by taking on 3 young graduates in the Electrician Junior internship program and are committed to providing further internship opportunities.
