Who are the nine winning start-ups of Advancing AI #3. The founders will present their pitches at the bi-annual Investors Day#4 event
Seven start-ups are from Romania and the rest from Poland and Serbia
Techcelerator, the most active accelerator program for local tech startups, organizes its biannual Investors Days event. The nine winning startups of Advancing AI #3 and selected alumni will pitch to investors during this edition.
Advancing AI is an accelerator program organized by Techcelerator – SEED Startups Accelerator and Investment Partner in the EEA – and Google for Startups for startups in the region creating MVP and Investment Readiness products based on AI (Artificial Intelligence) solutions.
The Advancing AI #3 accelerator program ran for ten weeks in the first quarter of this year. 114 start-ups applied for Advancing AI #3, of which 15 were selected for the ten-week program. Nine of these have completed the program and will present their products, progress, and growth plan at the bi-annual Investors Day event taking place today, 23 May, at Mercato Kultur in Bucharest. Investors Day #4 is an opportunity to interact with innovative start-ups and learn about the latest trends in the industry.

- Alter Medico – develops a marketplace and data management framework for healthcare providers by centralizing applications based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms
- EDNEOS – is an educational assistant that increases the performance of learning and memorization
- Coertexhub.ai – automates company processes efficiently, quickly and securely
Investment Readiness track
ZayaAI – develops a platform dedicated to pathologists for remote diagnosis and collaboration (telepathology), decreasing diagnostic time, laboratory costs and human error rates
Agora Robotics – develops an ecosystem of autonomous mobile robots (hardware and software) that help automate logistics and cleaning processes for companies managing warehouses: retailers, airports, logistics centres
Eyelet.io – develops a platform that helps companies improve their customer retention rate by creating guided tours, surveys and in-app ads
UltronAR – is a platform that helps to intuitively and quickly build AR games without the need for programming skills. Games can be created by educational institutions, companies, institutions, but also by individuals who want to create games out of passion
BabyFM – is developing an IoT-based wearable system for continuous body temperature monitoring that analyses incoming data and provides recovery predictions (based on treatment data entered by the user) and medication dosing recommendations
Hound Bytes – redefines the idea of Security Operations Center as a Service by creating a platform that combines threat intelligence, incident response and security analytics to help companies proactively identify and mitigate security threats
FactoryAI (alumni) – is a non-code platform that improves business efficiency by automating repetitive content and understanding tasks.

The selected start-ups benefited from a customized business case validation and optimization programe in which they worked with mentors with technical and business development expertise in artificial intelligence and access to international markets.

Advancing AI #3 targeted start-ups with an established team of specialists with complementary skills whose product is at MVP (Minimum Viable Product) or Investment Readiness stage.
To increase the pace of company formation, starting with this edition, the programme included two parallel and complementary cohorts (tracks) – one of “MVP Acceleration”, dedicated to early-stage companies with a prototype being validated, and one of “Investment Readiness“, which targeted companies with traction and go-to-market strategy, companies ready to raise pre-seed/seed rounds.
