RE/MAX has reached 70 national franchises and is aiming for an accelerated growth strategy in 2023

15 new offices have joined the network in recent months

RE/MAX Romania, part of the world leader in real estate and the number 1 franchise in this segment globally, reaches a total of 70 offices and over 800 members nationwide. As part of the accelerated growth strategy it has been focusing on lately, the RE/MAX brand has expanded its portfolio with 15 new offices nationwide.

Among the founders of the most recent RE/MAX offices opened in Romania are people who have previously worked in real estate or related fields, but most of them are entrepreneurs with experience in other industries or people who noticed the opportunities in the field and decided to join the most relevant global brand in real estate.

For example, after 12 years in construction, Daniel Suzeanu decided to enter the real estate market. “I chose RE/MAX as it offers access to a variety of training, which helps me better understand the real estate profession, as well as support on the recruitment and marketing side. Basically, on all the areas where you need help, the team comes up with solutions so they can help you grow your business,” said Daniel Suzeanu, B/O RE/MAX Total, based in Bucharest. The entrepreneur aims to recruit 10 real estate agents by the end of the year and reach a turnover of Eur 300,000 by 2024.

Also thanks to his reputation and global success, the entrepreneur Marius Ivan, who founded the RE/MAX Focus office in Bucharest, joined the company. His goals include building a strong network of contacts and resources in the real estate industry, which he sees as a real help in growing the business.  “Through RE/MAX I am able to access all these resources I need and grow with my business. I’ve been working as a real estate appraiser for four years and I felt it was the right time to enter the market with a business as well,” said Ivan.

Andra Ciucas, B/O RE/MAX Energy, comes with a long career in real estate in London, where she has successfully closed hundreds of transactions. Two years ago she returned to Romania and decided to join a brand that works to develop the real estate profession and offers all the resources needed for performance and launched, in partnership with B/O Adela Stanciu, the RE/MAX Energy franchise in Cluj. “When you are part of the RE/MAX brand the pressure increases, as clients expect you to be professional, knowledgeable, having specialized courses behind you. But it’s all the more rewarding when you manage to close a deal, because you’re not only growing your brand, but you’re also helping your parent company to grow,” she explains.

For Victor Coneschi, B/O RE/MAX Area Experts, opening a real estate business in Craiova was a challenge because, according to him, the transaction market is difficult in the area. B/O is also counting on his nearly 30 years of sales experience to help him run a successful business. “The decision to own my own franchise came from a desire to run my own business and get out of my comfort zone. In addition to personal development, I am excited to have strong support in the development of the business, as well as the endless earning possibilities, directly proportional to the involvement and management of the business,” said Victor Coneschi, B/O RE/MAX Area Experts.

Sergiu Borta, B/O RE/MAX Quality in Bucharest, chose to open his own RE/MAX franchise because of the possibility of developing a team of professionals. “It’s a complex and demanding field from all points of view, but at the same time unlimited in terms of financial benefits and satisfaction. RE/MAX Romania, in addition to a strong brand, also offers us a well-developed educational system and constant qualitative growth”, says the entrepreneur.

Entrepreneur Ionuț Petrice, B/O RE/MAX Nord Estates, from Bucharest, has developed a passion for real estate by observing the wide benefits and opportunities that can be had by working in the field. “I decided to open a RE/MAX franchise precisely because I had a lot of questions that were not answered. I needed professionals to teach me step by step. I already feel that I have evolved considerably, and in the long term I plan to open new offices,” he said.

Florin Dragoslav, B/O RE/MAX Champions, has opened his own franchise in Brasov and aims to become the most relevant agency in the city by the end of 2024. “We have bold goals for the next few years and we are confident that we will achieve them thanks to the support we will receive from RE/MAX Romania. Through networking, educational courses and tools we will get where we want to be” explained Dragoslav.

In addition to those mentioned, four other new franchises have opened in the capital, namely RE/MAX Innovation, with two offices launched, RE/MAX Liberty, coordinated by Adrian Șebe and RE/MAX Loyalty, under the co-leadership of Broker/Owner Luiza Radu. At the same time, at the national level, the RE/MAX Lifestyles franchise network has been joined by RE/MAX Lifestyles, with offices in Miercurea Ciuc and Odorheiu Secuiesc, managed by Zolt Antal and Laszlo-Robert Antal, RE/MAX City, in Piatra Neamt, coordinated by Ionuț Bostan, RE/MAX Terra, in Baia Mare, Broker/Owner Ruxandra Rus and RE/MAX Life, in Cluj-Napoca, Broker/Owner Laura Pop.
